Commercial Lawyer

Whitecap Search is seeking a highly skilled legal professional to join our healthcare client's legal team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements and provide legal support on FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of high-stakes commercial agreements, including R&D, advertising, vendor, and promotional contracts.
• Provide legal support and counsel on FDA regulations and lead commercial/promotional compliance reviews for healthcare products and services.
• Partner effectively with internal business teams across a global culture to align legal strategy with corporate and commercial goals.
• Modernize legal workflows by leveraging and integrating AI tools and innovative tech solutions into daily contract management.

Requirements

• 7 years of combined experience working in both a law firm and an in-house corporate legal department.
• Proven background supporting healthcare companies, specifically focusing on the commercial side of the business.
• Experience working within or for a global company, operating comfortably across international or cross-border contexts.
• Highly tech-savvy—specifically with AI legal tools—with an innovative mindset and a strong track record of cross-team collaboration.
