Commercial Journeyman Plumber

About the role

Serve as a technical expert driving large-scale commercial, industrial, and federal plumbing system installations. Manage field operations on-site, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant work while coordinating with project teams to meet timelines and material efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex plumbing installations following blueprints and local codes.
• Oversee daily field operations, ensuring safety and timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and quality standards.
• Resolve technical and logistical challenges on-site.
• Mentor and guide junior apprentices to promote safety and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Texas Licensed Plumber with proven experience in commercial or industrial plumbing.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in mechanical and HVAC trades, with expertise in federal or government plumbing systems and mentorship experience.
