Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial prospects through networking, referrals, and lead sources
- Identify client risks, assess needs, and deliver tailored insurance solutions
- Prepare proposals, present recommendations, and close new business opportunities
- Cross-sell additional lines of coverage and identify account-rounding opportunities
- Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients maintain appropriate coverage
- Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms and pricing
- Build strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and service excellence
- Partner with account managers and support staff to ensure seamless service and retention
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty License (required)
- Previous experience in commercial lines insurance sales strongly preferred
- Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the drive to build a profitable book of business
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
