Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial prospects through networking, referrals, and lead sources
  • Identify client risks, assess needs, and deliver tailored insurance solutions
  • Prepare proposals, present recommendations, and close new business opportunities
  • Cross-sell additional lines of coverage and identify account-rounding opportunities
  • Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients maintain appropriate coverage
  • Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms and pricing
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and service excellence
  • Partner with account managers and support staff to ensure seamless service and retention

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty License (required)
  • Previous experience in commercial lines insurance sales strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the drive to build a profitable book of business
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
