Commercial Insurance Inspector- (Horry / Myrtle Beach, SC.)

Job Description

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors for field inspections and risk control services. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting quality and timeliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys
• Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients
• Evaluate businesses for Property and General Liability coverage
• Identify hazards and improve safety
• Mitigate risks for insurance company clients

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and fire and safety
• Open to candidates without prior experience, who can enroll in a 15-hour online certification program

• Digital camera or tablet
• Computer

• High speed internet access
• Reliable vehicle
• Measuring device (laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheel)
• Auto and General Liability Insurance

Pay

Fees are negotiable based on experience and job specifics.

Schedule

Work from home or office, servicing onsite survey/inspection assignments in the Horry / Myrtle Beach, SC area, and other locations within approximately 45 miles of Horry and Myrtle Beach.
