Commercial Insurance Account Manager
About the role
We’re seeking an Account Manager to provide superior service to our clients, including new business submissions, examination of policies, endorsements, and comparison to binders and expiring policies for the team. This is a hybrid opportunity and this role requires onsite in-office presence 4 days per week at our office in Raleigh, NC. Applicants must be located within a commutable distance to Raleigh.
Responsibilities
- Marketing and servicing of key accounts
- Renewal negotiation and problem resolution
- Reviewing and rating of key accounts
- Maintaining integrity of policies and related documents
- Maintaining productive business relations and engaging in extensive contact with clients, producers, and underwriters
- Producing business proposals and delivering to producers
- Ensuring client has continuous and proper coverage and advising of any change recommendations
- Researching and reconciling discrepancies
- Preparing specifications, applications, underwriting data, and related information in the marketing of insurance products
- Managing all aspects of account administrations
Requirements
- Current Property & Casualty insurance license
- 1-3 years of related experience in a professional office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- Strong experience with data entry
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
Qualifications
- Must have and maintain current Property & Casualty insurance license
