CPI Security is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician for their Columbia, SC market. The position involves installing smart security solutions tailored to commercial customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Installs commercial customers' new equipment or systems to exceed customer expectations
• Trains and demonstrates customers on their new security systems
• Maintains a positive rapport with coworkers and customers
• Solves challenges that may arise for customers
• Maintains knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology
• Presents a professional appearance and maintains a clean and professional vehicle image
• Implements new ideas and strategies to simplify tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in electronics, electrical, HVAC, or a related field is a plus
• Strong sales skills, with an emphasis on upselling and closing techniques
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and flexibility to work weekends

Qualifications

• $60,000-80,000 annual average earnings (hourly paid training and 100% uncapped commissions)
