Commercial Installation Technician

Responsibilities

  • Installs commercial customers new equipment or systems to ensure the system exceeds customers’ expectations
  • Educate, train and demonstrate the customers new system
  • Must be able to work closely with supervisor and other technicians to coordinate and complete jobs
  • Maintain a good rapport and attitude with coworkers and customer base
  • Provide solutions and use expertise for challenges that may arise for customers
  • Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology
  • Present a professional appearance and maintain a clean and professional vehicle image
  • Implement new ideas and strategies to make tasks easier

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics, electrical, HVAC, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong sales skills, with an emphasis on upselling and closing techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

  • $60,000-80,000 annual average earnings (hourly paid training and 100% uncapped commissions)
