Core Responsibilities
- Demonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
- Determines project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet the customer’s Hydronics system design and installation requirements.
- Effectively writes, presents, and communicates bids, negotiates value, and closes sales.
- Positively and credibly influence system design and solutions with customers.
- Creates competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis.
- Manages multiple, ongoing, projects particularly focusing on selling HVAC equipment, service and systems.
- Builds partnering relationships with customers and manufacturers. Understand the customer's business and speaks their language.
- Understands, promotes and sells full breadth of CMS’s hydronics line card.
- Stays informed on manufacturer product updates, pricing, and availability.
- Maintains understanding of local and national building codes and energy codes.
- Consults with clients to properly apply CMS equipment.
- Adds support from and communicates effectively with the entire CMS team, including service, parts, sales and inside sales support staff.
- Afford to assist in the development of the sales team, including recruiting and mentorship of other sales team members.
- Keeps management informed of progress and account status.
- Takes ownership of entire client relationships, including product promotion, system education, and client entertainment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years account management and leadership experience; or equivalent experience.
- HVAC, Mechanical & Plumbing Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a must.
- Excellent initiative, interpersonal communications skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity and manage high volume projects.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
