Commercial HVAC VRF Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Start-up, service, install, and maintain commercial HVAC VRF systems (Daikin, LG, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Carrier)
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on VRF systems and commercial rooftop units
- Perform system retrofits, start-ups, and commissioning
- Diagnose improper installations and optimize performance
- Use wiring diagrams and blueprints to perform work accurately
- Maintain safety standards and meet code requirements
- Communicate clearly with clients and our office team
- Keep detailed service documentation for job tracking and reporting
Requirements
- 2+ years commercial VRF experience required
- 2+ years of HVAC experience (commercial service focus) preferred
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Physically able to lift 50–100 lbs and work in field conditions
- VRF factory certifications (Daikin, LG, Mitsubishi, etc.) preferred
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Controls preferred
- Knowledge of PLCs and digital diagnostics preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work in field conditions
- Comfort working on rooftops, ladders, and in tight spaces
- Ability to stand, kneel, and work for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and codes
Pay
Top pay: $40–$55/hour, based on experience. Guaranteed 40-hour work week.

Schedule
Monday–Friday with on-call rotation and overtime opportunities. Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
