About the Role

Lennox AES has an immediate opening for a Commercial HVAC Technician. Technicians travel nationally and work under the supervision of HVAC Foremen. The role involves servicing commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units and adapter curbs, with a focus on HVAC electrical knowledge and construction safety. Work weeks typically range from 60-70 hours.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units and adapter curbs.
• Apply HVAC electrical knowledge and adhere to construction safety practices.
• Travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4-week deployment cycles.
• Work overtime hours as required.
• Perform duties in outdoor environments (e.g., roofs) in varying weather conditions.
• Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with creativity and latitude.
• Follow instructions and guidelines to assist in job performance.

Requirements

• Certification and 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC trade, working under the supervision of a Master HVAC mechanic.
• Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines for the HVAC/construction industry or prior OSHA training.
• Ability to travel nationally for 3 to 4-week deployment cycles.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions.
• Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• May require completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty.

Employment Prerequisites

• National background check.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Pay

This is an hourly non-exempt role with a starting pay range of $27-$36/hour, depending on geography, market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Overtime is eligible when working more than 40 hours per week (or as required by state law).
