Responsibilities
- Execute complex sheet metal fabrication and ductwork installations according to blueprints and specifications.
- Manage on-site field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project completion.
- Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to maintain schedules and material efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress and quality standards.
- Resolve technical challenges on site to optimize HVAC system performance.
- Mentor and guide junior apprentices to promote professional growth and safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a sheet metal journeyman or duct installer in commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and duct specifications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for project needs.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in mechanical and HVAC trades.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Knowledge of industrial ventilation systems and federal installations.
