Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on construction projects
- Cookordinate daily jobsite activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Install, oversee, and inspect sheet metal ductwork and HVAC equipment installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, and construction documents
- Plan labor requirements and assign work to field personnel
- Cookordinate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades
- Ensure all work is completed according to company standards, project specifications, and local codes
- Identify and resolve installation issues, field conflicts, and construction challenges
- Cookduct quality inspections and verify proper system installation
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including labor hours, materials, and progress updates
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures
- Mentor and develop junior installers and sheet metal mechanics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC construction and sheet metal installation experience
- Experience leading installation crews or serving as a foreman on commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and sheet metal ductwork installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
- Preferred: Journeyman HVAC or Sheet Metal License
- Experience with large commercial construction projects
- Experience coordinating multiple crews or subcontractors
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Mechanical contractor or supervisory experience
