Commercial HVAC Service Technician II

About the role

Take on the systems other technicians need help with. We're looking for a proven commercial service technician who can take full ownership of diagnostics, repairs, and customer communication on more complex equipment. You will be trusted to solve difficult calls, reduce callbacks, and help developing technicians get better.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial PMs, no-cool/no-heat calls, inspections, and quoted repairs
• Independently diagnose and repair package units, split systems, WSHPs, fan coils, mini-splits, VAVs, and PTACs – generally up to 20 tons
• Troubleshoot 3-phase power, high- and low-voltage shorts, economizers, power exhaust, actuators, and larger motors
• Diagnose and commission VFDs, Pelican controls, pumps, hydronic components, and advanced refrigerant problems
• Complete detailed documentation, resolve callbacks and customer concerns, support junior technicians, and participate in the on-call rotation

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA 608 Universal certification and strong independent diagnostic ability
• Working knowledge of 3-phase systems, controls, VFDs, airflow, and hydronics
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record

Qualifications

• NATE certification preferred
• Controls experience and lift certifications are a plus

Pay

$36–$42/hour + monthly performance bonuses

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM with on-call rotation
