Commercial HVAC Service Technician

About the role

J.F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a full-time Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain and service HVAC commercial systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning heating and cooling systems, recommending services, service contracts, and equipment units in various commercial buildings, and assisting in training HVAC helpers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning heating and cooling systems
• Recommend services, service contracts, and equipment units in commercial buildings such as businesses, schools, churches, and multi-family units
• Train HVAC helpers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience servicing commercial units
• Completion of state apprenticeship program OR equivalent work experience
• Own personal tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces

$55/hr. for an excellent, well-experienced and senior level technician

Schedule

This Commercial HVAC Service Technician position typically works 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime expected during peak periods.
