Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Support Manager and customers to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, equipment IOMs, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work.
- Manage business acumen by electronically filing startup paperwork, thoroughly documenting job summaries, utilizing electronic scheduling and job tracking software, and generating QuickBooks timecards and invoices.
- Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional system identification, analysis, diagnosis, and repair at customer locations.
- Independently manage daily business needs by identifying parts to order for repairs and determining the required urgency of requests. Utilize existing company resources, including an on-staff parts and warehouse manager, to return equipment to service in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in factory training and certification, as identified by management, covering current and future manufacturers represented by S Conley Sales, Inc., including equipment such as Air Handlers, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, Refrigerant Split Systems, VRF, VFD’s, Heat Pumps, Fans, Cooling Towers, Packaged Rooftop Units, DOAS, UV, Controls.
Requirements
- 3+ years in HVAC service, with an aptitude to understand mechanical HVAC systems and controls.
- Excellent customer service skills, including troubleshooting, teamwork, good communication, and facility relationship building.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Drug screening and background check.
- Strong self-directed work ethic and motivation to learn the newest technologies in the industry.
- Advanced skill level performing Electrical inspections, startups, repairs, and service contract maintenance.
- Ability to work in diverse conditions including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office software and hand-held computers (Smartphone, iPad).
Qualifications
- Advanced skill level performing Electrical inspections, startups, repairs, and service contract maintenance.
- Ability to work in diverse conditions including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with hand-held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).

Pay
$35 +/hour Base Pay DOE + opportunity for overtime
Schedule
The role is required to work frequently in the field, multiple customer sites on a daily basis depending upon project needs and requirements in coordination with your direct supervisor and/or most senior leader of your department.
