Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Services, troubleshoots, and cleans heating and cooling equipment and related products.
• This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 tons to 1,000 tons; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, spot coolers, electric and gas heaters.
• Maintain, service and setup service equipment and rigging equipment.
• Strong Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of performing preventive maintenance on all types and brands of HVAC Equipment.
• Communicate in a professional manner with fellow employees, subcontractors, and customers.

Requirements

• EPA Universal license.
• Experience/Qualifications: 5+ years of commercial, and/or industrial experience on all types of HVAC Equipment.
• Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning heating and cooling equipment and related products.
• Able to obtain EPA Universal license within 60 days of hire.
• Possess and maintain a valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Able to push, pull, lift and manipulate objects of up to 35 pounds often and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to climb up and down ladders from all heights within OSHA regulations.
• On-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
