Position Overview
Build and maintain strong relationships with Commercial General Contractors
Attend pre-bid meetings and networking events
Identify and pursue new project opportunities
Review plans, specifications, and design-build concepts
Prepare accurate and competitive proposals
Develop project budgets and cost breakdowns
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing
Identify scope gaps, risk factors, and value engineering opportunities
Support engineering and project management teams during preconstruction
Assist with smooth turnover from estimating to operations
Maintain communication with GC partners throughout project lifecycle

Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating and/or sales experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems and mechanical code
- Experience working with Commercial General Contractors
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and processes
- Excellent communication and professional presence
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
