Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Solve problems independently and collaboratively
- Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
- Stock and maintain tools and equipment
- Provide quality service and uphold integrity
- Participate in continuing education and training
- Pass a background check
Requirements
- Universal EPA certification
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, with refrigeration experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic technology skills for navigating mobile apps and documentation
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and move heavy objects
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces
- Strong balance and coordination for working at heights
- Endurance to stand or kneel for long periods
- Dexterity for precise tasks
Skills

Pay and Schedule
The base pay for this position is up to $45 per hour, determined based on the cost of labor in various US markets. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Technicians may be dispatched from home and paid door-to-door, working flexible hours that may include evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and frequently move heavy objects
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces
- Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher
- Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
- Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements
