Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Work independently or as part of a team to solve complex problems
- Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
- Stock and maintain tools and equipment
- Provide quality service and uphold integrity
- Participate in continuing education and training
- Pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license
Requirements
- Universal EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, with refrigeration experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic technology skills for navigating mobile apps and documentation
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and move heavy objects frequently
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces
- Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights
- Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
- Dexterity for precise tasks like connecting electrical components and making measurements
Skills
- Universal EPA certification
- Valid driver’s license

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The base pay for this position is up to $45 per hour, determined based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
Hours may vary based on customer needs and may include evenings, weekends, and on-call availability.
