Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Helios is a rapidly expanding HVAC/R service provider that's seeking a high-energy, skilled technician to join its team. With a focus on commercial HVAC/R systems, we're looking for individuals who are passionate about their work and eager to grow their careers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
• Solve problems independently and as part of a team
• Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
• Stock and maintain tools and equipment
• Provide quality service and integrity
• Participate in continuing education and training
• Pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license

Requirements

• Universal EPA certification
• Valid driver’s license
• 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, with refrigeration experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
• Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic technology skills for navigating mobile apps and documentation

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and move heavy objects
• Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces
• Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights
• Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods
• Dexterity for precise tasks

Skills

• Universal EPA certification
• Valid driver’s license

• Basic technology skills

Pay

The base pay for this position is up to $45 an hour, determined based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Technicians are dispatched from home and paid door-to-door, providing flexibility while ensuring reliability and quality service.
