Commercial HVAC - Project Manager

About the Role

Emerald Aire Inc., a Design‑Build HVAC contractor specializing in VRF systems in Auburn, WA, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Manager. The role supports field teams by providing office coordination, communication, and project oversight to ensure efficient and successful installations from early design coordination through execution and final closeout.

Responsibilities

• Clear understanding of HVAC and ability to read mechanical plans and specifications
• Conduct job site visits to ensure projects stay on track
• Interpret mechanical plans and construction schedules
• Create and track budgets, accurately forecasting cost to complete
• Attend project meetings and review contracts
• Order materials and equipment accurately
• Identify change orders and price COPs
• Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers
• Collaborate as a team member with both office and field personnel

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Understanding of the construction industry, including basic HVAC concepts
• Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers, and internal team members
• Excellent follow‑up and relationship management abilities
• Creative problem‑solving with a solutions‑oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test upon conditional offer

Pay

$130,000 – $140,000 salary
