About the role
As a Commercial HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician, you'll perform scheduled maintenance and inspections designed to improve system performance, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.
Responsibilities
- Complete preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment
- Inspect rooftop units, split systems, package units, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
- Replace filters, clean coils, inspect electrical components, and lubricate moving parts
- Identify maintenance concerns and recommend repair needs before equipment failure occurs
- Verify system operation through performance testing and inspections
- Document maintenance findings and complete service reports accurately
- Communicate recommendations to customers and the service department
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a professional manner
- Follow company safety standards and manufacturer maintenance procedures
Requirements
- Two or more years of commercial HVAC maintenance or service experience
- EPA Universal Certification required
- NATE certification is preferred
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment and performing preventive maintenance
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in varying weather conditions
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Pay
$28.00-$33.00 per hour, based on experience
