Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC sales, estimating, or commercial HVAC experience
- Experience reviewing blueprints, mechanical schedules, and project specifications
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, applications, and equipment selection
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database tools
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Estimating or quoting experience preferred
- A mechanical engineering or related technical degree is also a plus!
Responsibilities
- Work full-time supporting business development throughout the Tennessee region
- Your schedule will be designed around the needs of our customers and partners, with regular business hours and occasional flexibility to meet project deadlines and support our contractors
- Partner with customers to develop and support commercial HVAC project opportunities across the Tennessee region
- Assist contractors and dealers with equipment selection, system application, and project development
- Develop price estimates, write proposals, bid jobs, and track project progress, ensuring that every detail aligns with project plans, blueprints, and mechanical specifications
- Work directly with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and developers to promote and specify Habegger products
- Support both design-build and plan/spec opportunities
- Deliver fast and accurate commercial quotes
- Provide technical training and product support for contractors and internal sales teams
- Identify new commercial opportunities and help increase market share
- Work on projects such as light commercial rooftop replacements, multi-family developments, and spec build applications
