COMMERCIAL GENERAL REPAIR TECHNICIAN III

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work on commercial buildings, equipment, and facility systems.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
• Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe operating conditions.
• Document completed work, materials used, and repair status accurately.
• Collaborate with lead technicians with larger repairs, installations, and projects.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial maintenance, construction, or general repair is preferred.
• Intermediate experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems is required.
• Ability to use common maintenance tools and equipment safely is necessary.
• Strong attendance and reliability are essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Special Position Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy.
• Must have reliable transportation and tools.
• This position requires using work applications on a personal cell phone. Cell phone reimbursement will be provided.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safely.
• Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to read labels, instructions, technical documents, and safety signage.

Schedule

Monday-Friday from approx. 8:00am-4:30pm. This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs, including being available for emergency needs.

$40.00-$50.00/Hourly
