Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate work ahead of time
  • Manage projects effectively by ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and job information are available on-site
  • Treat clients with the highest degree of respect and foster a partnership environment
  • Investigate and solve problems to optimize installation processes
  • Work collaboratively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Estimate time and materials needed for service tasks
  • Perform work from various heights using different types of ladders and scaffolding
  • Work in confined spaces and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Lift up to 51 pounds multiple times per day
  • Use repetitive motions and maintain focus on details
  • Supervise and mentor junior electricians
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Train and develop the team
  • Inspect work for quality assurance and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve complex electrical problems efficiently

Skills

  • Technical proficiency in electrical systems and installations
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong leadership and project management skills

Requirements

  • Active TX TDLR journeyman electrical license or master
  • Active TX ID or DL
  • Reliable transportation
  • Minimum 1+ years of documented field work in the commercial industry
  • Proven work experience as an Electrical Foreman or a similar supervisory role
  • Experience managing 5 to 30 men
  • Size of projects ranging from $10,000K to $15M
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Punctuality and motivation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work from all types of ladders and perform work at various heights
  • Ability to work in restricted areas and wear personal protective equipment
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 51 pounds multiple times per day
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
  • Constantly moving feet
  • Ability to climb ladders of various types
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and installations
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
