Commercial Foreman

The Opportunity

A well-established commercial roofing contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth market is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead field crews on commercial roofing projects throughout DFW. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands commercial roofing systems, knows how to keep crews productive and organized, and can effectively coordinate labor, materials, drawings, and jobsite requirements. The Foreman will typically oversee crews of 5–20 team members and will play an important role in completing projects safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial roofing crews of approximately 5–20 employees
• Coordinate daily field activities and crew assignments
• Monitor labor hours, material usage, and jobsite productivity
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
• Communicate project needs, progress, and potential issues with project leadership
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower needed to keep projects on schedule
• Help identify and resolve field-related issues
• Travel outside the DFW area occasionally as project needs require

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience managing a commercial roofing crew
• Spanish-speaking ability required
• Experience supervising crews of 5–20 employees
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing installation and repair practices
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction drawings
• Ability to track labor hours and material usage
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in an active construction environment and managing multiple jobsite priorities
• Willingness to occasionally travel outside DFW

Roofing Experience Preferred

Candidates should have experience with commercial new construction, re-roofing, restoration, and/or repair projects. Experience with multiple commercial roofing systems is preferred, including:

• Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
• Modified Bitumen
• Single-Ply Roofing Systems
• Standing Seam Metal Roofing
• Sheet Metal
• Flashing and related roofing components

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience
