Commercial Finance Manager - Hybrid

Role: The Manager, Commercial Finance supports the Gilchrist & Soames commercial teams by providing financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business insights to drive profitable growth and informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop and report on commercial operating metrics, KPIs, and financial summaries for leadership.Analyze sales performance, customer profitability, category trends, promotional activities, and product economics.Build revenue and margin scenario models to support RFPs, new business, and negotiations, clearly communicating assumptions and risks.Support business cases, ROI calculations, pricing, margin analysis, and cost assessments for commercial initiatives.Lead the development of annual plans, forecasts, and long-term strategic activities, providing insights into financial results and risks.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to evaluate growth opportunities and improve financial outcomes.Build strong cross-functional relationships, communicate financial insights, and influence business decisions.Conduct regular meetings to foster engagement, address concerns, and promote idea sharing. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.5+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business analysis.Proficiency in financial analysis, advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office.Solid understanding of financial metrics, pricing, and profitability analysis.Excellent communication skills to convey insights to diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
