Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, and innovation teams to provide financial guidance and influence key business decisions.
- Analyze customer and channel profitability, helping refine pricing strategies and product mix to maximize growth.
- Utilize trade promotion planning and management tools to assess and optimize profitability across customers and sales channels.
- Prepare and present financial reports, offering insights on business trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Identify cost-saving and margin-improvement opportunities within the commercial organization.
- Enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics.
- Evaluate the financial impact of new product launches, market expansion, and promotional initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess promotional efficiency, marketing ROI, and commercial performance.
- Assist in the creation of the Annual Operating Plan and monthly financial reporting.
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects that support long-term business strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a business-related field
- Minimum 5 Years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, preferably in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Proven ability to develop and manage financial models, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Extensive knowledge of trade dynamics in the CPG industry, including customer negotiations, pricing structures, and promotional strategies
- Strong experience working closely with sales and marketing leadership to support business objectives
- Ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive growth and profitability
- Skilled in managing relationships with stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams
