Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crews on commercial job sites.
- Cook up daily tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure proper installation.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and clients as needed.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols at all times.
- Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen.
- Perform hands-on electrical work as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role managing projects between $100,000 and $1.5 million.
- Deep understanding of commercial electrical systems and codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
- Valid state electrical license (Journeyman or higher preferred).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Proficiency with project management software or apps (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
- Experience in design-build environments is a plus.
