Commercial Driver - Edgerton, WI

About the role

This primary role involves driving and operating a company truck to deliver goods and services to a varied customer base. The position also includes general warehouse duties such as stocking and retrieving packages and bulk containers, operating a forklift, and maintaining general housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment
• Operate a manual pallet jack with pallets weighing up to 3,200 lbs
• Ensure all shipments include proper shipping documents
• Perform vehicle safety inspections
• Maintain mileage and fuel logs on all vehicles
• Ensure no product leaves or enters the warehouse without the necessary paperwork
• Meet and complete all regulatory and safety requirements
• Assist with maintaining warehouse cleanliness

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial driving experience
• Valid driver’s license with Class-A CDL and a clean driving record
• Ability to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 50 lbs
• Endorsements for Doubles, Haz-Mat, and Tankers, or willingness to obtain
• Forklift experience, will be certified on the job
• Ability to work overtime hours during busy seasons
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience using digital systems to maintain vehicle logs, shipping documentation, and regulatory records accurately
• Comfortable using mobile devices, warehouse technology, and transportation management tools to support daily operations and communications
• Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI-powered productivity tools such as Copilot, to improve efficiency, safety, and decision-making

Pay

The base compensation for this position ranges from $24.76 to $33.03 per hour. Wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
