Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial overhead doors and related systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs on dock levelers, dock seals, dock shelters, and loading dock equipment
- Install and service hollow metal doors, frames, hardware, and access systems
- Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and perform necessary repairs
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and company vehicles
- Read and interpret work orders, installation instructions, and technical manuals
- Complete required service documentation accurately and timely
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to learn new skills and work in a team environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding environments
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and machinery
