About the role

Kalstone Legal is launching in Q4 2026 – a new kind of commercial debt recovery firm combining cutting-edge legal tech with an entrepreneurial, high-performing team. We’re looking for a Commercial Debt Negotiator who wants to take ownership, help shape processes, and be part of a firm built for growth from day one.

• Manage end-to-end case ownership of non-contentious debt matters
• Liaise with defendants and their representatives to support recovery activity
• Complete case reviews and determine the most appropriate recovery route in line with client instructions and our internal strategies
• Help shape how we deliver legal services using our bespoke tech

Requirements

• Experience in debt recovery or civil litigation
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a litigation or debt recovery team
• Strong understanding of civil procedure rules and the litigation process
• Commercially minded, organised, and confident dealing with defendants
• Keen to work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment

• Salary ranging from £28,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience
