Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate master data services agreements and DPAs
- Own first-line review of customer order forms and resolve issues swiftly
- Negotiate a range of commercial agreements including vendor and partnership agreements
- Collaborate with the Product team and engage proactively with Privacy Counsel
- Identify gaps in processes and develop training resources for go-to-market teams
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve collaboration between teams
- Auxiliary legal support tasks as part of a small team
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. state
- 7+ years of law firm or in-house experience focused on commercial transactions or contracts
- Meaningful in-house SaaS experience with MDSAs and DPAs
- Track record of building scalable legal processes including playbooks and templates
- Ability to operate autonomously on complex, ambiguous legal issues
- Strong communication skills adaptable to various audiences
- Genuine enthusiasm for partnering with Sales
