Commercial Contracts Associate (NDA)

This Role: As a Commercial Contracts Associate (NDA), you will join a high-impact team providing critical services to Norm Law's clients, leveraging AI agents to streamline the drafting, review, and execution process for non-disclosure agreement reviews. You will collaborate with partners, clients, and technology teams to deliver efficient, precise, and data-driven legal services for in-house legal teams of leading asset managers.

• Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and redline NDAs tailored to client guidelines.
• Incorporate legal context by working with clients to advise on their NDA playbooks and ensure AI agents understand each client's specific context.
• Integrate AI agents into workflow management, execution, negotiation, and coordination with counterparties for any NDAs.
• Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and velocity.
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to further optimize the NDA review process using AI.

Skills & Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar admission in New York.
• 3-6 years of experience reviewing NDAs or similar agreements.
• Strong drafting and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Interest in applying technology to enhance traditional deal workflows.

What Success Looks Like

• After 30 days: Learn firm AI platforms; begin supporting the commercial contracts team using AI-enabled review and drafting.
• After 60 days: Independently manage discrete components of NDA review with AI support.
• After 90 days: Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live NDA reviews, improving efficiency and accuracy in document management and execution processes.

Comp & Benefits

$170,000 - $200,000 per year
The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Individual pay is determined by various factors including job-related skills (uncovered during the interview process), experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed here reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity or benefits. We offer a competitive salary along with equity compensation.
