About the role

The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial interior construction projects, collaborating with project teams, managing subcontractors, and driving safety and quality standards. As responsibilities expand, there will be opportunities to independently lead smaller projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site activities and support project delivery under the guidance of senior field leadership.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, material deliveries, and project sequencing to maintain schedule commitments.
  • Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture through regular site inspections, meetings, and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, workforce tracking, and construction progress updates.
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including punch list completion and turnover documentation.
  • Facilitate inspections and coordinate timely resolution of any deficiencies or corrective actions.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and field challenges with project management and leadership teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior field personnel and trade foremen when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within interiors or tenant improvement projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and oversee site operations.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality control procedures.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safe jobsites.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams.
  • Experience tracking project progress, maintaining site documentation, and supporting project closeout activities.
  • Motivated professional looking to grow into increased project leadership responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel to project sites within the regional operating area.
