Responsibilities

• Safely implements job site safety measures and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Monitors and updates project schedules to meet cost and time requirements.
• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities, maintaining an organized job site.
• Communicates with stakeholders, including owners, project managers, and subcontractors, to ensure project success.
• Prepares and sends weekly project updates to relevant parties.
• Manages the final punch list and prepares the project close out manual.
• Exceeds client expectations by understanding and addressing client needs, wants, preferences, and cultural considerations.

Requirements

• At least 5-10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of project strategy, financial goals, scheduling, logistics, and phasing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems proactively.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations and adherence to company policies.
• Proficiency in managing resources, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and employees.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing project scopes, buy-outs, and schedules.
• Ability to handle complex tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Professional certifications in construction management or related fields preferred.
