About the role

A 100 percent employee-owned construction firm in Maine is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager with extensive experience in healthcare or aviation projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Developing project schedules, setting milestones and managing budgets
• Handling RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay applications
• Managing subcontractor relationships, contracts and purchase orders
• Leading project teams and conducting coordination meetings
• Monthly cost reporting and exposure analysis

Requirements

• Minimum ten years of commercial construction project management experience
• Solid background in healthcare or aviation construction
• Stable work history with long-term tenure at previous employers
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, building science or engineering preferred
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
