Commercial Claims Specialist II

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Regularly reviews all open exposures, including input from the supervisor as needed, focusing on the investigation and the accuracy of the file reserves.
• Investigates, reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the assigned property damage and bodily injury claims expeditiously (and if necessary, through the litigation process) in preparation for prompt resolution.
• Keeps the supervisor informed on claims progress as needed.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-8 years of claims experience, including handling litigated and non-litigated property damage and bodily injury claims related to BOP, CA, and CGL policies.
• Initiates appropriate action to review coverage and proactively resolves all claim exposures in a manner consistent with existing law, license, and company guidelines.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Other insurance designations.

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials. Pay Range: $81,124-$94,141.
