About the Opportunity

You will play a vital role in executing high-precision commercial, industrial, and federal interior construction projects throughout Southern Maryland. This position offers a stable environment working primarily indoors with strong leadership support and everyday operational autonomy. You will leverage your technical trade expertise to deliver superior framing, drywall, and structural interior layouts that directly impact local federal infrastructure.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Construct and install precision metal framing for commercial walls and structural partitions.
• Perform detailed room layouts for interior walls and complex acoustical ceiling systems.
• Hang, finish, and repair drywall and insulation materials according to technical specs.
• Maintain top-tier safety standards on federal job sites using company-issued safety gear.
• Collaborate with field supervisors to ensure all build phases hit strict quality metrics.
• Adapt daily installation tactics to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Must be a United States Citizen to meet federal site access requirements.
• Proven experience with metal framing, drywall installation, insulation, and acoustical ceilings.
• Demonstrated ability to read layout blueprints for complex wall and ceiling assemblies.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for select project assignments.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a commercial carpenter or mechanic.
• Prior experience operating lifts or working on government/federal installation sites.
• Possession of safety credentials such as OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lift certifications.
