Commercial Banking Specialist

About the Role

Old National Bank, a regional powerhouse with over $70 billion in total assets, is seeking a Commercial Banking Specialist to join our team. As a Commercial Banking Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Relationship Managers (RMs) in the Commercial and Business segments, providing sales, administrative, loan, deposit, and other relevant support.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the loan process, including gathering client information, preparing loan requests, and coordinating loan closings.
• Supports portfolio and credit administration by tracking loan maturities, clearing past due financials, and providing RMs with pipeline and production information.
• Facilitates the depository process by opening commercial accounts and resolving client issues with Treasury Management and Client Care teams.
• Provides sales support and administrative assistance, including business development research, calendar management, and client communication.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associate degree in administrative services/business or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 4+ years of administrative and/or banking experience preferred; 2+ years of experience working with commercial processes.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with RMs, clients, and bank partners.

Commercial Banking Specialist roles may vary, and this position may be filled at a different level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Factors include progressive support experience in commercial, wealth, or community banking, high-quality customer service, effective time management, and knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $27.50/Hr. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.
