About the role

The Commercial Banking Administrator III position involves handling accounts of large size and complexity, supporting a lending team, and managing the loan closing process. This role also includes providing support and guidance to less experienced Commercial Banking Administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary contact with the Loan Production Group and Loan Operations to ensure all new loans, renewals, extensions, and modifications are processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Interacts with customers, attorneys, CPAs, and other lending institutions to resolve problems and aid where needed, ensuring all required documentation is returned within an appropriate timeframe.
  • Manages the pipeline of assigned loans within nCino and other secondary sources, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all data points.
  • Utilizes systems, procedural, operational, and enterprise expertise to research and resolve issues and questions, including those from Compliance, Internal Audit, and Credit Risk Review.
  • Works closely with and maintains strong productive relationships with various departments to ensure rapid and positive issue resolution.
  • Performs loan maintenance as required, including participation settlements, loan payment adjustments, pay-offs, and pay-downs, partial releases, and interest rate changes.
  • Responsible for opening and maintaining Commercial Banking deposit accounts, ensuring all bank procedures are adhered to, and working with Treasury Services to ensure products are set up and working appropriately.
  • Maintains compliance with overdraft approval and insider transaction procedures, researching and correcting customer delinquencies and aged overdrafts.
  • Monitors and reviews various monthly management reports to ensure renewals, extensions, rate changes, and maturity loans are reviewed and documented within the designated time frame.
  • Depending on the department, may be responsible for other lending support activities such as construction loan monitoring and processing of advances.
  • Provides training to Commercial staff and acts as a mentor to less experienced Commercial Banking Administrators, including cross-training with other associated departments.
  • Generates nCino management reports and assists in the testing of nCino system upgrades and the addition of new nCino products.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of commercial banking compliance and regulations
  • Knowledge of general banking operations and activities
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Strong communication, organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Access), Metavante Insight/FIS, nCino Lifecycle Lightening, Salesforce, and other relevant programs
  • Bachelor’s degree or related knowledge/skills gained through experience required
  • 10+ years of commercial loan experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial and commercial real estate loan closing processes and procedures, loan systems, and loan documentation
  • Expert real estate knowledge in an administrative support role
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills required
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated individual possessing a team-building spirit

Pay

Hiring Range: $26.53 - $42.64. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.
