About the role
The Commercial and Agricultural Loan Officer will inherit a few existing credits but must also have the ability to generate new business independently. The branch currently holds $30 million in commercial and ag loans.
Responsibilities
- Inherit and manage existing commercial and agricultural loans
- Generate new business independently
- Contribute to the bank's growth in the community
- Work alongside two seasoned loan officers with a passion for banking, helping customers, and mentoring staff
Requirements
- Experience in both commercial and agricultural lending
- Strong business development skills
- Desire to contribute to the bank's continued growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial and/or agricultural lending experience
- Preferred certifications such as CFP, CLS, or SVP
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
