We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join our high-performing team and help us continue our unprecedented growth. CertaPro Painters® specializes in beautifying both residential and commercial buildings, including interiors and exteriors of properties such as homes, office buildings, warehouses, multi-family properties, retail centers, churches, and hotels.
About the role
As a Commercial Account Manager, you will seek new clients and maintain existing ones by demonstrating that we are the best solution for their commercial painting needs. We are committed to delivering an extraordinary experience and earning "Customers for Life."
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial sales to property managers, facility managers, and industrial customers by initiating, developing, and growing commercial painting relationships.
- Cold calling and field networking to seek new business opportunities.
- Development and maintenance of current business accounts.
- Participate in industry events and trade shows.
- Diligent customer follow-up and follow-through.
- Commitment to ongoing sales goals.
- Manage "cradle-to-grave" sales (3-9 month sales cycle).
- Ensure customers receive a detailed written proposal for all requests.
- Document customer needs and expectations clearly and accurately in written proposals.
- Develop close working relationships with the Marketing Associate, Production Associate, and Job Site Supervisor to meet all proposal expectations.
- Meet with customers in person to perform estimates and gather project execution details.
- Win sales commitments with new customers in a competitive market.
- Grow revenue from existing accounts and relationships.
- Prepare weekly analysis of results for goal setting and review with your supervisor.
Requirements
- 2-year degree in a related field required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- B2B or commercial sales experience (preferred).
- Track record as a top performer (preferred).
- History of accomplishments and promotions.
- Working knowledge of interior and exterior paints, coatings, and other construction-related topics (preferred).
- Great communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented, organized, and energetic.

Pay
Total compensation package:
- First year: $65,000 to $85,000 (base salary/draw, commissions, and bonus).
- After first year: Potential to exceed $100,000+.
