Responsibilities

• Control & manage budgeting and forecasting process
• KPI analysis driving business activity
• Accurately capture key business performance indicators
• Highlighting trends, concerns, and plans to mitigate or exploit risks
• Building proactive relationships with key managers to understand their activities
• Capturing true KPI’s
• Cashflow forecasting
• Business projects
• Undertake deep dives into business activities
• Investigate and present findings and recommendations
• Attending board meetings
• Supporting Finance Manager to close monthly management accounts
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely reporting covering profit & loss, balance sheet, and cashflow
• Enhance the use of company’s reporting software

Requirements

• Commercial management accountant
• Financial leader with a strong commercial flair
• Full qualified accountant or proven relevant experience in financial reporting and commercial finance / financial controller, finance manager, management accountant
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Fully capable of driving change
• Individual able to “make it happen”
• Able to support management in decision making
• Great attention to detail
• Flexible, able to adapt to a changing environment
• Desire to keep improving – offering solutions/ideas and deliver change
• Advanced Excel user
• Enjoys analysis

Qualifications

Commercial management accountant

Financial leader with a strong commercial flair

Full qualified accountant or proven relevant experience in financial reporting and commercial finance / financial controller, finance manager, management accountant

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

Fully capable of driving change

Individual able to “make it happen”

Able to support management in decision making

Great attention to detail

Flexible, able to adapt to a changing environment

Benefits

A competitive and attractive salary in the region of £50,000- £60,000 (negotiable) – depending on experience/qualification
