Commercial Account Representative- Columbus, OH

Rescue Rooter Columbus, a national service leader, is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to join our team and grow your career with the premier plumbing company in the area. This role offers a large, opportunity-filled territory where you can control your financial opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Secure new customers through face-to-face contact and relationship selling.
• Manage accounts and conduct frequent follow-ups with prospects and customers.
• Sell plumbing and drain cleaning services to commercial businesses and industries.
• Engage in direct selling through in-person meetings with business leaders and operations managers.
• Generate sales leads and obtain referrals from current customers.
• Contact, visit, and service current customers to ensure quality of services.
• Submit activity reports and achieve minimum monthly sales goals.
• Maintain contact with prospects and follow up on open proposals.

Requirements

• Commercial sales experience.
• Plumbing sales experience (a plus).
• Strong sales skills with a track record of exceeding sales goals and a hunter mentality.
• Strong networking abilities and cold calling experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft applications.
• Service industry experience (a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
