About the role
TDS Telecom is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join the Commercial Sales team. The ideal candidate will leverage TDS' full range of solutions, including hosted and premise-based VoIP solutions, managed services, and web security, to identify and close new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through cold calling and in-person visits to obtain appointments.
- Meet or exceed sales growth targets by determining customer needs, gaining information, presenting TDS solutions, and persuading customers of TDS' value.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer status and forecasts using the CRM system.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and lead sources.
- Leverage the TDS CRM system to develop prospecting and sales strategies ensuring high activity and effective closing ratios.
- Write and submit accurate and timely new orders following the established sales process.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- 1+ years of cold calling experience.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-system environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email, Internet).
- Ability to set and achieve goals.
- Ability to work independently.
