About the role
Merge is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth and build strong customer relationships. Key responsibilities include executing on integration strategies, managing full sales cycles, and collaborating with various teams to continuously improve the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Execute on integration strategies to help organizations achieve significant growth
- Manage full sales cycles from prospecting to closing, including opportunities generated by marketing and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to facilitate expansions, renewals, and referrals
- Lead by example as a mentor for new sales team members during the company's growth phase
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering, product, growth, and platform teams to share customer insights and improve the overall Merge offering
- Experiment with new ideas, processes, and tools to improve and scale the sales motion
Requirements
- 3-7+ years of experience as a top-performing account executive
- Experience selling a technical SaaS product with consistent ACVs of $50k+
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Ability to create repeatable sales processes across a wide range of customer interactions and customer sizes
- Deep customer empathy and unrivaled communication skills
- Full sales-cycle management skills, from prospecting to closing
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Prior experience as an early employee at a startup and/or selling an API product or developer tool are a plus
Qualifications
- Proven success in driving revenue growth through strategic account management
- Strong understanding of the integration landscape and how to leverage it for business outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and market trends
- Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools

Pay
The cash compensation range for this role is $180,000 - $221,000, with a 50/50 split between base salary and variable compensation. Actual compensation packages are determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate.
Schedule
Full-time position with flexible working hours.
