Role Summary

Tennessee Mental Health & Psychiatry Group, which partners with and operates out of the Southeast Psych offices, is seeking a highly qualified, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our thriving private, cash pay practice in Brentwood, TN.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
  • Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
  • Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
  • Other duties as assigned.
