Responsibilities

  • Champion rigorous, engaging, and inclusive teaching practices
  • Use data to drive decisions and accelerate student growth
  • Provide meaningful feedback to elevate teaching and learning
  • Administer comprehensive assessments addressing areas of suspected disability
  • Write comprehensive and professional reports with educationally relevant recommendations
  • Participate in 603 CMR Team meetings as an evaluator to help determine eligibility for special education
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and student-centered environment
  • Build authentic partnerships with families from all backgrounds
  • Communicate openly, respectfully, and consistently
  • Lead with integrity, empathy, and high expectations

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Certified as a School Psychologist by the Massachusetts Department of Education
  • Licensing as an Educational Psychologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (preferred)
  • Two years of successful teaching experience (one year should be in a school setting)
  • Proven ability to work effectively with/for children and adults in a multi-cultural community
  • Empathetic to the needs of young people and adults in the area of special needs
