About the role
Lead growth of industrial gas sales across combustion and mining markets, including mineral processing, metallurgy, mine safety systems, and thermal processing operations. Develop and execute a growth strategy that aligns customer needs with Linde’s products and services to deliver measurable value. Build strategic partnerships to expand market access and promote the benefits of industrial gases, including improved efficiency, reduced emissions, enhanced safety, and higher productivity.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze target markets, industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, and adjust strategies to stay competitive.
- Develop clear value propositions focused on combustion optimization, process efficiency, emissions control, and mining safety and productivity improvements.
- Drive lead generation, track key projects, and lead technology deployments and market initiatives across combustion and mining segments.
- Create and manage marketing plans, sales tools, and collateral, including case studies, trade show participation, and customer analysis tools.
- Build relationships with key customers and collaborate with internal teams while serving as the subject matter expert for combustion and mining applications in the U.S.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field required; MBA preferred.
- More than ten (10+) years of experience in technology, marketing, or technical sales.
- More than five (5+) years of experience in combustion systems, mining, minerals processing, or related industrial gas applications.
- Proven success selling engineered solutions to combustion-intensive or mining customers.
- Experience working with OEMs, EPC firms, or engineering companies.
- Knowledge of the bulk industrial gas business is a plus.
- Ability to travel more than 50% is required for this role.
- Strong skills in sales strategy, market planning, technical applications, and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay
Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $125,475 - $184,030.
